In a report published a week ago, a whopping £135m was spent on health and wellness holidays during 2006, with spending forecasted to double by 2011. A poll revealed that 16 million adults had enjoyed spas and spa breaks in the past year with 23%, indulging in a spa massage, spa treatments and saunas at luxury spa hotels and resorts, country retreats and wellness centres around the world.
